Jaill came down to Austin to escape a cold Milwaukee December to record “Brain Cream” It wasn’t as warm as they had hoped but they still put on their 70’s gyms shorts and went for a morning run every day. I loved working with these guys. The songs are simultaneously wacky and serious pop music. All great songs! And the desk drawer in the apartment above the studio still smells like pot!
